"How To Become A Certified NACFA Advisor"

The process for becoming a NACFA Certified Advisor is more than just being accepted into the NACFA membership.

It is an exclusive group of pre-qualified members that desire to take their college planning practice to the next level. This certification is completed by way of continuing education and by agreeing to participate fully and responsibly to an 8 week course of isolated training and testing sessions called “Mastery.”

There is a series of 6 modules that advisors are required to listen to and study all fundamental aspects of the college funding process. In addition, each candidate is solely responsible for testing out of each session. All members must also attend a monthly teleconference in addition to the 4 live training conference events held throughout the year.

To guide and assist each member, NACFA will be there to help start and manage successfully their college planning business, each step of the way.
